Hidden Mickeys EVERYWHERE

So this weeks bonus was that everyone had to find a hidden Mickey, take a picture and send it over. We picked our top two favorites. Overall great job Everyone!!!

An Ode to DisneyLand Day

The magic of Disneyland Day calls to   me
   Sadly it can become quite a fee
   It is worth it for Michael and Brit
We'll walk all day and sometimes sit For it is Disneyland that I long to see.

Such fortune it is to see Mickey, Cannon & Minnie.

Should Walt say hi, it wouldn’t surprise Grand Ma Cinnie.

  A fantasy to boost her life full of luck.

  Couldn’t even be demolished by Donald the Duck.

Disneyland Day’s unhappiest time would be Ta-ta, Farewell & Finni

We went to Disney on the run,

Looking for Mickey in the sun,

We saw Bert and Mary, 

They weren't even scary,

Our day ended and we'd had so much fun.

 And some people got carried away and sent some extras...

Wow, talk about impressive! Savanna painted this which is an interpretation of a painting found inside the Pirates of the Caribbean. Way to go sis!!

DISNEYLAND DAY 2013

Well our 4th annual Disneyland Day was AMAZING!!! Seriously, it's always so much fun but this was just great. Not to mention it was CANNON'S VERY FIRST TRIP TO DISNEYLAND EVER!!!!

The intense Mousehunt challenge came down to the wire! But in the end, it was Nick (aka "Sarge" from Toy Story) who took home the trophy! This year's competition consisted of a mix of Charades, Guess-that-tune, Pictionary and Trivia. The audience had to try and guess what the contestants were acting/singing/drawing and it was the funnest game yet! I'd expect we'll be doing the same thing each year from now on since it was so much fun!

Good luck to all next year! Thanks again to everyone (even those who didn't go) for making this such a fun day! See you all next year when our 5th official Dinseyland Day will be themed in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Tiki Room!! Mark your calendars for March 8th, 2014!!!

Marvel in the Parks

Well, it was inevitable... Marvel is now officially being entered into the Disney Parks cannon. Hong Kong Disneyland will "put in place a themed area featuring ‘Marvel Heroes’, the first of its kind in the world."

I for one am excited... with the pending Star Wars expansions and the success of the Avengers I think Disney will be putting good money into this. And I'm glad they'll start at a foreign park so that they can figure out what works best! And it'll be fun to watch it all come together.
